Setting up your app
The first two minutes: your role, your tiles, your Claude account, your connections, and the app on your phone.
Open app.opstudio.click and sign in. The first time, a short setup opens. After the welcome screen, it takes five to seven short steps. The number depends on your work. Each step is one screen. Tap Continue to go to the next step, or Back to go back one step. You can skip every step but one.
1. What you do
Pick the work closest to yours: Outreach, Content, Ghostwriting, or Something else. Your Studio tab starts from this choice. You can change it later in Settings.
2. Which tiles
Your studio ticks the tiles that suit your work. Tap a tile to add it or take it away. "Something else" ticks every tile. Take away the ones you do not use. Lesson 4 explains each tile.
3. Your Claude account
Your studio runs on your own Claude account, with a Pro or Max plan. This is the one step you cannot skip. Tap Get my link, then Open Claude. Sign in and approve. Paste the code that Claude shows you, then tap Connect. The link works for about ten minutes. If it runs out, ask for a new one on the same screen.
Go to the chat under the button lets you leave this step for now. Your studio cannot work until Claude is connected, so the chat then shows a Connect Claude button that brings you back here.
4. Your connections
- Google calendar, so your studio sees your calls and can book new ones for you. Lesson 11 explains Allow booking.
- LinkedIn, so your studio can post for you once you approve.
- Other posting accounts, if you post somewhere else: a LinkedIn page, Instagram or Facebook. Outreach and Something else get this row. A Content studio gets one more screen instead, Your posting accounts, with a button for a LinkedIn page, Instagram, Facebook and another LinkedIn profile.
The LinkedIn buttons ask your studio for a connection link, and the link comes back on the same screen. Anything you skip, you can connect later. Ask in the chat.
5. The app on your phone
Put the app on your home screen. It then opens full screen, like any other app, and it can tell you when something waits for you.
- iPhone: open the app in Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Then open it from your home screen. Only Safari can do this on an iPhone.
- Android and computers: tap Add to Home Screen on this step. The button shows only when your browser can install the app. Some browsers keep it in their own menu, under Install or Add to Home Screen.
Then turn on notifications. On an iPhone they work only once the app is on your home screen. You can change this later in Settings, under Tell me when something needs you.
6. A short tour
The last screen says you are set. Tap Open my studio and three tips point out the three tabs: Chat, Studio and Settings.
When it does not work
If the Claude step says your account has no Pro or Max plan, get a plan in Claude, or sign in with the Claude account that has one, and then get a new link. If the code does not work, get a new link and try again. If it fails again, ask the OpStudio team for help. For any other step, tap Skip, finish the setup, and ask in the chat. Your answers are kept, so you do not start again.
